Thursty Thursday: Bowl Full of Cherry Daiquiri

After 7 just about perfect summer days, it’s Thursty Thursday once again. At SummerTies, we have a saying: When life is a like a bowl full of cherries, it’s time to make cherry daiquiris! This recipe uses Maraschino Liquer, the secret ingredient to most delicious summer cocktails.
Cherry Daiquiri:
(Makes One Cocktail)
2 oz cherry juice (instructions below on how to make your own, but store bought also works well)
2 oz light rum
Dash of Maraschino Liqueur
1. Pour 2 oz. cherry juice and 2 oz light run into a a shaker filled with ice
2. Pour in a dash of the Maraschino Liquer
3. Shake vigorously and serve straight up
For Cherry Juice:
1 pint of Bing cherries
1. Pit cherries into a food processor
2. Blend until smooth
3. Place contents into a strainer and, using a spoon, push the blended cherries against the edge of the strainer to extract the most juice
